2026.3.21(sat) Aunkai Spring Open Seminar

At our school, we refer to the martial arts system developed through body-awareness training and the refinement of internal function (internal power / naigong) as Internal Movement Martial Arts.

This method of body usage connects deeply with the principles found in Aiki-based techniques and the close-contact skills of Chinese martial arts, and it can also be effectively applied to striking techniques.

In this seminar, we will focus on the core principles behind these body techniques and offer participants a hands-on experience of them.

The seminar is open to everyone—from complete beginners to active practitioners and experienced martial artists.
Please feel free to join us.

2024-09-23 Tokyo Open Seminar reports

This seminar was an introduction to internal movement martial arts that focuses on structure and posture, and covered how to transmit your own power to your opponent without relying on movement energy.
Participants used the Aunkai’s method to recognize and execute the internal movements required for this, and experienced the sensations involved.

Once again, there were participants from far away and repeat attendees, with some even sending thank-you emails after the seminar.

We are grateful for all the connections we have made.

Notice

On 28.7.2024, at a general meeting of the Aunkai organization, Robert John, a former Hanshi of the Aunkai, and Gernot Hassenpflug, a former Renshi of the Aunkai, were excommunicated due to conduct detrimental to the organization and violations of the rules, such as leaking information, and Mike Mahoney was voluntarily dismissed from the Aunkai.
We would like to inform you that the above-mentioned persons and their affiliated groups, seminars, etc. will not be associated with our association in any way in the future, and that the “internal power” “Naido” described by the above-mentioned persons is distinct from the techniques taught by Akuzawa Sensei.
